If you plan to use Cisco's Webex Calling with anynode, there are a few important requirements to keep in mind:

  1. Before configuring anynode, you must complete all SIP trunk-related configurations in Cisco's Webex Hub for anynode as SBC, including locations, call routing, dial plan, and users.

  2. Consult Cisco's guidelines for Webex Calling configurations and general information, and review the Cisco Webex Calling Configuration Workflow, the Requirements for Calling section, the Webex Calling system requirements, security requirements, and Known issues for Webex Calling article.

  3. It is mandatory that Cisco Webex Users are enabled with a Webex Calling Professional license.

  4. Make sure you have a public and reachable IP address and public DNS entry with proper mapping for the anynode server. Check that the FQDN and public DNS entries resolve correctly to the proper IP address.

  5. Configure appropriate firewall rules for SIP, TLS, DNS, and media connectivity. Review Cisco's Port Reference Information for Webex Calling.

  6. Use an anynode installation utilizing the Cisco Webex Calling certified version for the peering.

  7. Appropriate network access, network routing, and administration rights.

  8. Accessible and pre-configured VoIP environment.

  9. VoIP credentials for the involved Nodes to permit necessary configurations.

  10. A fully functional anynode production or trial license.
